The Viriatum Process

Source

Every Viriatum piece begins at the origin — the quarry. We carefully select stone blocks for their natural beauty, veining, and structural quality. Each block is assessed and marked by professionals with deep material knowledge before being cut using precision tools for clean, controlled extraction. These raw forms are then transported to our warehouse, where their transformation begins.

The Viriatum Process

Design

Once the stone arrives, our team of seasoned architects and product designers begins the creative process. Guided by the material’s natural character, they develop forms that respond to its tones, textures, and unique patterns. Whether adapting a signature piece or crafting something entirely bespoke, the result balances bold design with purposeful function — always with the stone as the starting point.

Production

In the workshop, the design takes shape. Skilled artisans and technicians cut, sculpt, and finish the stone using a combination of traditional methods and advanced machinery. Edges are refined, surfaces polished, and all components meticulously assembled. The process is exacting — every detail contributing to the strength and clarity of the final piece.

Inspection
The Viriatum Process

Inspection

Before each piece leaves our hands, it undergoes a meticulous quality check. We verify every dimension, edge, surface, and joint — ensuring structural integrity, visual harmony, and a flawless finish. Nothing is rushed or overlooked. Only after it meets our strict standards is it carefully packed and prepared for delivery, ready to arrive as intended: flawless, bold, and built to last.
